DELS INTESTINS UNA SOGA I DEL CUL UN SAC DE GEMECS

The communication and poster for the theatre production Dels intestins una soga i del cul un sac de gemecs are born from an essential question that runs through the entire piece: what do we do when the world comes to an end? The challenge was to transform this question into a simple, direct image — as if we were trying to condense the meaning of existence into a single gesture. The play raises questions around death and transcendence, using a surreal, contradictory, and absurd language.

The decision was radical: to reduce everything to text and stone. A heavy, forceful slab, almost ancestral, evoking a time when messages were carved in order to endure. This ancient resonance contrasts with the usual channels of theatrical communication, paper and screen, and transforms the poster into a physical, persistent presence, strangely out of place within the urban space. More than announcing a play, the piece becomes a question turned into matter.
