37th AMERICA’S CUP

To mark the 37th America’s Cup 2024 in Barcelona, ACCIÓ (Agency for Business Competitiveness) commissioned us to develop two audiovisual pieces: a commercial and an interview. Within the project, I was part of the creative direction, directed the shoot of the commercial, supervised its final edit, and edited the interview.

The commercial builds a connection between Barcelona and the America’s Cup through the sea as a narrative thread, with water always present, bringing together archival material from both the city and the competition, treated in an organic way, and linking Barcelona’s maritime tradition with the imagery of the Cup.
In parallel, the interview with Grant Dalton introduces a perspective more closely tied to the competition, where ideas such as victory and defeat emerge, maintaining this connection between the America’s Cup and the context of Barcelona.
