The communication and poster for the theatrical play “Dels intestins una soga i del cul un sac de gemecs” convey a surreal, cathartic humor with a uniquely evocative style. The play centers on a critical question: what do we do when faced with the end of the world? The poster, made from a heavy stone slab, embodies themes of persistence, contradiction, and absurdity. Its weight and material create an impactful presence, recalling ancient times when messages were carved in stone, giving it a mystical and transcendent feel. To heighten the contrast, we hung this stone poster with straps—an unexpected sight compared to the typical paper poster in urban spaces—creating a striking, memorable effect.

ROLE: DIRECTION & EDITING

The campaign aims to capture the vibrant essence of Latin America, using color as the main vehicle of expression. The vivid and dynamic tones represent the vitality, energy, and warmth of the region, connecting with the culture and spirit of its people. The concept revolves around the idea of "La sobremesa," a moment of togetherness after a meal, symbolizing the union and closeness that define relationships in Latin America. In this way, the campaign celebrates the authenticity and modernity of Latin culture, conveying its strength through a palette of bright and lively colors.

In the spot, the use of color in the backgrounds and the concept of "La sobremesa" are prominent. This moment of togetherness gradually intensifies, leading the characters to unite and dance to the rhythm of a reggaeton track created specifically for the occasion. This explosion of energy and celebration further highlights the vibrant and festive atmosphere that defines the campaign. The direction focuses on creating an authentic "sobremesa" scene, where the joy and connection between friends are palpable.

[A NEW ERA OF PAYMENTS]
ROLE: DIRECTION AND CREATIVE & ART DIRECTION

GoCardless is a fintech specializing in automated payment methods for merchants. As part of its rebranding strategy, Codea Studio was commissioned to conceptualize, write, and produce a commercial that would present the company's "New Era of Payments," highlighting its main services and new brand identity.            
The challenge was to create a coherent visual universe that the brand could replicate in future campaigns. Building on the creative concept developed by Codea Studio, the visual direction focused on the metaphor of dinosaurs, symbolizing the obsolescence of traditional payment methods. Visual resources evoking the beginnings of life, such as earth, fire, bones, and the universe, were employed to contrast the past with the modern innovations of GoCardless. This visual approach illustrates how the old can give way to a new beginning, creating a dialogue between history and technological evolution. Photographs and archival material from museums were integrated to enrich this narrative, establishing an aesthetic that aligns with the central concept of the campaign.

[GOCARDLESS PROTECT+]
ROLE: DIRECTION, CREATIVE AND ART DIRECTION & EDITING

In the second commercial, developed for the launch of GoCardless Protect+, a product that protects against fraud and scams, the visual aesthetic was maintained but with a new focus on water as the central concept. Here, water symbolizes the flow of money that needs to be protected and guided to a safe destination. Elements such as glass, vases, lakes, and rivers were used to represent a continuous and protected flow. This visual narrative, consistent with the first video, reinforces the message of security and protection that GoCardless Protect+ offers.

ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) is one of the world's most important audiovisual trade shows, and 2024 marks the second consecutive year it is held in Barcelona. This year’s piece highlights the use of artificial intelligence in film, particularly in how it can transform traditional storytelling. The piece begins with the protagonist's leap. In this moment of suspension during the acrobatic move, we embark on a visual journey. The leap is accompanied by frames of various styles created with artificial intelligence, turning this single moment into a rich and vibrant visual experience. Set against the backdrop of Barcelona, this journey into the digital realm emphasizes how exploring new technologies can lead to exciting possibilities and experiences.

ROLE: CREATIVE, MOTION GRAPHICS & EDITING

The reel video of Snoop agency’s projects is conceptually based on accumulation. Starting from a script created by Snoop themselves, filled with irony and sarcasm, the piece adopts a visual and auditory baroque style that represents greed. The goal is to create a piece that begins with a blank screen and ends with the screen full of things. Through rapid, stimulus-rich editing, combined with accelerated and dynamic animations, the video is characterized by a constant flow of activity.
