[INTRODUCTION PIECE]
2026
PolsXtrems is an interactive exhibition that uses the gym as a metaphor to explore critical thinking, empathy, and curiosity. Curated by Domestic Data Streamers, it presents a series of installations that explore extreme polarisation and question how we form our opinions in a context of misinformation and hate speech.
As part of the project, I was responsible for the direction and editing of two audiovisual pieces. The first, located at the entrance, served as an introduction to the exhibition, setting the tone and positioning visitors within the journey. The second was part of an installation and took the form of an ironic video tutorial that, through a series of different poses, explained some of the cognitive biases we adopt when faced with certain situations.
The challenge was to find a language capable of translating these concepts into clear and accessible pieces, while maintaining an approachable tone and a touch of humour aligned with the exhibition’s overall approach.
